What we´ll wear in spring 2019
Each season we are waiting for the prêt-à-porter shows and the amazing collections the designers are about to show. In 2018, there were also some new approaches, some old favourites and some surprises. When the models hit the runway, we were again in awe and couldn´t help but share with you the best runway shows that we saw in 2018.
All-time favourite Chanel was taking us to the beach this time. Big straw hats, lace, tweed (yes, also in summer!), pastel colours and cute accessories were the mantra at one of Karl Lagerfeld´s last collections. Italian brand Valentino meanwhile showed us colourful prints, big sleeves and feathers. Mint green was one of the main colours of the collection and it gives the collection a very summery touch. The muted colours, animal prints and textures as well as formfitting cuts turned it into something sexy and mysterious.
Victoria Beckham showed sleek and chic looks as always. The designer plays with colours perfectly and creates the ideal clothes for the modern woman. Spanish brand Delpozo brought back on their ruffle game and showed looks in pastel colours, sheer fabrics, lace and as said lots of ruffles in London. And last but not least, the British designer Emilia Wickstead who is famous for her modern and feminine silhouettes and strong colours fascinated us with a runway full of red, green, yellow, purple.
