T-Michael is a Norwegian designer. Y. & Sons is a Japanese tailoring company. Together, they created something that just the intertwining of two cultures with a love for fine manufacturing and signature approaches to fashion could. Welcome the T-Kimono.
Thought of for younger men (but honestly, we're totally going to wear it even if we are, in fact, not young men), the T-Kimono is, in the shape, an authentic kimono. However, instead of sporting bright designs and fine silks, the T-Kimono's heavy wool-suit material gives it structure, and its neutral colors give it the one thing Scandinavians are most known for -- minimalism.
So stay tuned: the T-Kimono will be on the market on October of this year.
