It seems that having a beautifully arranged bar cart became a trend lately, as Pinterest boards are full of pictures and instructions on how to contrive and present your own little bar at home. These wagons look so perfect and tips and tutorials are so explicit that the whole bar-cart-project appears to be a rocket science. We think: It’s the opposite! Home ware and accessory brands have so much to offer, that with the right ingredients, this can just turn out beautiful! Mix and match with the props that we like best:
First, you need – what else – a bar cart. If you are not lucky enough to find a vintage one in your grandma’s attic or at the flea market, have a look at these beauties:
Again – depending on the drinks you want to serve. And: The less the better. We suggest preparing up to ten glasses, either champagne flutes, wine glasses or cocktail glasses.
A bar without a corkscrew, bottle opener and wine cooler? Impossible. Maybe you also want to add a cocktail shaker.
Straws, coasters, stirrers… They are all not really necessary but still very handy and for a fancy cocktail bar-like drink to impress your guests with you definitely need some funny add-ons.
And as if all of the above was not enough yet, decorative pieces make the cherry on top of your bar cart. Flowers, candles and little bowls or trays like you would put on your coffee table are always a good choice for that.
Last but not least: Liquors or other beverages, the choice is all yours, depending what your favorite drink includes. Pretty bottles also make very nice décor.
