In winter, there is nothing worse than having cold feet. Don’t you agree with us? It is one thing if the freezing wind is blowing in your face or if you shiver although wearing a thick coat, but as soon as the feet cool down, the game is over.
There is a medical reason why feet are especially prone to get cold, and it’s quite obvious: The internal organs need more energy in order to function properly as the cold needs to be balanced by the body. Therefore the blood distribution in the body changes so that all the warmth centers in the upper body. The vessels shrink and arms and legs get less blood than usual.
Another very interesting fact is, that women are more likely to freeze than men because they have a lower percentage of muscles, which produce energy – and warmth.
After this physiological explanation, we think it is just reasonable to invest in some good, warm and of course stylish winter booties, in order to stay healthy and comfy.
And while we showed you all the best fake fur coats in Pt. I, and our finest selection of hats & gloves in Pt. II, today we want to present you how to fight harsh winter weather with the most stylish and convenient booties of the season!
