Here we go! No Halloween passes without us providing you with a traditional movie watch list. For us, half of the fun of this holiday are the movies that come along with it (the other one is dressing up). Especially the ones that like Halloween, but not particularly going out, will agree on that. Less than a week ahead, it's still enough time to catch up on some nice films that will get you perfectly in the mood for October 31.
Most of the movies we picked for you are rather old. We just love classics, as well as 80s and 90s films because we think that retro touch makes them even scarier, but in a funny way. Our list doesn't include the most horrifying movies, but eerily-beautiful, spooky material, which is fun to watch.
So turn on your Netflix, Amazon, or consult your illegal streaming provider, grab a huge bowl of popcorn (or better prepare some of the Halloween Snacks we told you about) and snuggle down in your blanket because you are going to binge-watch these movies, one after another.
See what happens when Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer unite to hunt down Jack Nicholson. I can't decide if this movie is more funny or scary.
Johnny Depp hunts down the headless rider, with the help of a young lady. A Tim Burton classic!
Winona Ryder is the best for playing strange girls with a soft heart and a preference for strange guys (thinking of Heathers or Edward Scissorhands).
The musical movie from 1975 is a real classic. If you haven't watched it yet – shame on you and take the chance to do so this Halloween (like me :D).
This Disney classic about three witch sisters is hilarious to watch, especially if you get scared easily – because it's not scary at all.
The 1979 adaption about the legendary figure Count Dracula stars Klaus Kinski, who is a little spooky himself.
