Season after season, Karl Lagerfeld doesn’t cease to amaze us.
For each Chanel show, the designer surprises us at the Grand Palais in Paris, with scenarios that blow your minds away. Whether a vast ocean liner for the Chanel Cruise 2018 collection, a forest with real trees and floor covered in fall leaves to present the fall 2018 collection, each show is an unforgettable event! Now, Chanel gave us an unbelievably real-looking sandy beach with ocean waves gently lapping against the shore.
The reactions on Twitter and Instagram were terrific, and we’re still all in awe looking at the beautiful images of Chanel S/S’19 fashion catwalk with models including Kaia Gerber and the British Adwoa Aboah, walking barefoot on the sand and frolicking in the real water waves. The Grand Palais decor included a panoramic sky in the bluest blue, a boardwalk, and a lifeguard’s chair where sat a lifeguard showing his strong tattooed arms in the best Baywatch style. By the way, Pamela Anderson was also present on the front row, but luckily, not in her red bathing suit!
As Lagerfeld states: “Fashion is a game that has to be played seriously” and nobody plays the fashion game better than the Kaiser does!
