The unrevealed key to success
I’m a working woman, and I confess that every morning when I am choosing my office outfit, I don’t think in heels, but only in sneakers and flat shoes. I am lucky to live 10 minutes walking from my office, in a city where I do all my errands on foot. So for me, wear heels is quite a challenge.
However, it should not be the case because I am 1,56m tall, and every extra centimetre is very much welcomed.

Recently I watched House of Cards on Netflix, and the costume design created for Claire Underwood, the USA president played by Robin Wright, is incredible; she is always running kilometres through the corridors of the White House, wearing a 15cm Jimmy Choo pump!!! What’s the message? Power women should suffer and destroy their feet, to be taller and sexy? What a cliché, right?
I am not Claire Underwood either Robin Wright but I'm working woman and petite, and my heels for the office are maximal 6cm. So, I prefer to wear loud accessories than have my feet hurting during my office hours.
Thank God, fashion has everything for everyone; it’s a very inclusive business. Consider the colours, shapes and lengths available in the market, and you will find for sure something to make you look elegant and comfortable.
With shoes is the same, midi and kit heels are the perfect solution for the office look. With just a little bit of heels, those shoes make you look professional by slightly enhancing and elongating your legs. Pair them with capri pants, and you have a french style a la Brigit Bardot, and with straight and crop jeans, you are in a Copenhagen style area. If you are a skirt person, try it with a pleated maxi skirt to get a romantic look or a super-fit pencil skirt to kill everybody in the office.
