Notorious came, saw and reviewed!
Notorious went to beautiful Milan last weekend and apart from eating for two days straight we also treated ourselves with some fashion. Not least because Milan is one of the four main fashion capitals. So, of course we had to visit the Armani/Silos. The museum, which was founded in 2015, offers 2500 square meters full of fashion, photography and amazing architecture. The grain silo (therefore the name Armani/Silos) was rebuilt into a modern space that now hosts over 400 pieces of clothing and more than 200 accessories from the Armani collections starting from 1980. The building with its simplicity and the modern and timeless forms mirrors the brands aesthetics thoroughly.
Apart from the permanent collection, there are also other alternating exhibitions on the other floors of the museum. You can currently enjoy amazing photographs by Sarah Moon, see the works of different Italian photographers or have a look at the digital archives. The Armani/Silos is a definite must for fashion lovers and we assure you that you will be fascinated by the architecture of the space and what it has to offer.
Tip: To get in for free, make sure to go on the first sunday of the month!
