We Got You!

Working throughout summer is tough. We are no school kids anymore that can enjoy the perks of 9 weeks unlimited rest. Sure, that one week vacation in the south of France is fantastic, but honestly, it is way too short. Most of the season is still spent in either too hot or too cold (thanks, AC!) office premises. Those high-heeled strappy sandals and minis we were impatiently waiting to wear since we saw the trends of Fashion Week last September are never really called into action when going to work. But don’t be sad – there are plenty of options for stylish summer outfits that are (more than just) appropriate for the office. They are so chic that you will be happy to be able to head to work in the morning. At least we are.
Keep reading to see the 7 office outfits we selected for you to wear this summer, each starring different key pieces. We would immediately wear every single one!
Skirt + T-shirt + Blazer
A pleated satin or silk skirt paired with a white T-shirt and a linen blazer is a perfect outfit for the office. The white T-shirt that stylish trendsetters are wearing more and more, brings balance by dressing down the satin skirt, while the blazer and pumps bring elegance to your office look. The linen blazer is something you need this summer. Do invest in a good quality one that you will be able to wear for several seasons; it is a staple that you can pair not only with the satin skirt, but it also looks fab with trousers or over a dress, and it makes any look more polished and professional for the office.
Skirt + T-shirt
A midi skirt in a luxurious-looking fabric as satin, lurex or silk, worn with a white T-shirt or a logo Tee and white sneakers is an on-trend and relaxed office look. Choose classic sneakers like Superga or All-Stars that look very cool and effortlessly chic, and finish your look with a beautiful handbag.
It is summer, so why not go white-on-white? You don't need to be at the beach to wear white from head to toe, go to the office in white trousers paired with a white buttoned shirt, both in breathable natural fabrics like cotton or linen, and a white blazer. For a bit of colour, wear tan sandals and handbag, tan and white look fabulous together; it is a winning combination for summer with no doubt.
Burst of Colour
You can also explore all colours and don't be afraid to be bold; summertime asks for colourful looks. Wear pink, green, yellow, lime, purple; you name it. Be adventurous and mix them all if you want it. Complete your bright look with classic beige mules like these chic vintage Chanel's.
Safari + Sandals
As we told you already several times, beige is this season's hue. To make your safari look even trendier, pair you beige shirt-dress or jumpsuit with thin stripe sandals. If you walk to the office or just prefer a bit more of comfort at work, wear, instead of the heeled shoes, the chunky hiking sandals that are invading our Instagram feeds, and a beautiful straw bag that will make you feel as though you were already on vacations even though you're on your way to the office.
Jeans + Jacket
If you are one of the die-hard-jeans-wearers, don't worry, you can keep wearing your favourite denim to the office this summer. Cropped jeans or paperbag waist jeans will give your look a summery feel, pair the trousers with a white tee and the linen blazer that you already have to wear with the satin skirt of the first look. All-Stars sneakers and a big white or silver handbag finish your casual yet chic office outfit.
Print + Print
We love mixings prints; it is daring and contemporary; it looks fresh and fun. But be careful because this is not an easy task. Chiara Totire combines a tie-dye shirt with trousers with a paisley pattern, which could have gone horribly wrong, if both prints didn't have a touch of the same colour. You can mix polka dots with animal prints, stripes with florals and so on, but make sure that they have in common at least one colour. When wearing mixed prints, choose neutral shoes and handbags, not to overdo it.
Have a great week!
