Maisie Williams, better known as Arya Stark in the widely successful TV series “Game of Thrones”, was in the front row of Thom Browne's catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week, looking fabulous in a colourful trouser suit by Browne.
The actress chose a tailored, yet modern, masculine look with a twist, which would have suited the feisty Arya, who needs comfort to run and fight to avenge her family, and that is a signature look of Thom Browne.
The American designer launched his eponymous womenswear and menswear label in 2003 and has already received several times the “Designer of the Year” award. He recreated a ‘50s open-plan office with desks, old typewriters and lamps to present in Paris his Fall/Winter 2019 collection, with plenty of beautiful three-piece suits.
Browne show was packed with celebrities sitting in the front row like Anna Wintour, Andrew Bolton and Amanda Harlech, the fashion consultant and muse to the late John Galliano and Karl Lagerfeld. We loved Maisie Williams rocking a Thom Browne plaid suit with ducks embroidered. She paired the green and pink suit with a checked pink and white tie that matched her hair, and white sneakers. The edgy power-suit from the Pre-Fall 2019 collection is not for everyone, but we loved the cute actress in this eye-catching trouser suit.
You can see Maisie Williams right now in the final season of Games of Thrones. The hit HBO series is on its 8th season and Arya Stark has survived so far, while most of our favourite characters have already been killed during the bloody and seemingly never-ending war for the Iron Throne. Many fans of the series were a bit shocked and uncomfortable seeing the young Arya in a hot love scene since; for most of them, she still is the cute 11-year-old who would rather learn how to fight than play with a doll. Nevertheless, they are kept on their toes, episode after episode, rooting anxiously for Arya to make it alive to the end of the series. Will she?
Spoiler alert: the actress posted on Instagram a photo, stating "the last woman standing", which makes us believe the brave Arya will make it, although one never knows what can happen in the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros!
