The iconic fashion designer Valentino has just turned 87, and what better way to celebrate it than gathering in Capri his muses Naty Abascal and Rosario Nadal, Bianca Brandolini, Olivia Palermo and Prince Paul of Greece with his wife Marie-Chantal, among many other celebrities, for a glam weekend?

Valentino and his gang in Capri

The weekend celebrations happened on the island where the designer spends his summers, in Italy’s Bay of Naples. It included sailing with his A-list guests aboard Valentino’s 47-meter yacht, the T.M. Blue One. They also went to fantastic restaurants and partied in a breath-taking location. And finally,  the merry group sang and danced at the island’s most famous night club.

Why not follow the Haute Couture designer and visit his favourite places in Capri?

La Canzone del Mare Beach Club

This wonderful beach club is probably the best spot in Capri. The beach club has several terraces and sundecks with easy access to the beach – something quite rare on Capri. There are also two outdoor swimming pools with salted water, restaurant, massage etc. You can arrive directly with your boat. And if you want some privacy, the club offers cabanas with private terrace and even an intimate suite on the beach.

Villa Margherita Capri

The location of this restaurant is absolutely stunning. Enjoy, like Valentino and his friends, a delicious seafood meal or home-made pasta made with local ingredients. Make sure you get a table under the olive trees of the garden overlooking the sea. You can also host private events at the family-owned restaurant.

Anema e Core

This tavern is a famous late-night haunt for celebs in Capri. Although a bit pricey, it is absolutely a must for anyone who likes to party. Anema e Core opened its doors in 1994. The spot has since become the number one night club and the place to be on the island, with famous singers, actors, fashion designers, models and VIPs from all over the world dancing and singing with the owner, Guido Lembo, and his band till dawn.

Villa Castiglione in Capri

This stunning villa was awarded the most beautiful house of Europe by the Wall Street Journal. The location, on the top of the mountain of Castiglione, has a breath-taking ocean view. And the villa is only a 10-minute walk from the city of Capri and its famous Piazzetta. The 5-bedroom villa is available for rent from April to October, including house-butler and private chef. Villa Castiglione was built by Emperor Tiberius, circa 27 AD, on the site of an ancient Greek temple. No wonder Valentino chose this Villa to host his fabulous birthday party!
