All about Royals and divas

07/08/2019

Summer is here, so we are on and off in Vienna, but when we are off, it seems that the World decides to go on and on. Why not a worldwide Summer pause?

1. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened.

The service was held in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle. Archie was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening robe, initially commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. Everything perfect and according to the tradition, right? Wrong!
The Royal couple refused to release Archie's Godparents names. In their Instagram, the caption read "Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie."
The price to keep Archie a private citizen in every way possible includes having the British taxpayers very upset.
Anyway, we wish all the best to the eight-week-old new Christian and his mysterious Godparents.

2. The Powerpuff Girls are back.

Ursula von der Leyen, Chancellor Angela Merkel's defence minister and fellow conservative party member, was nominated by European Union leaders to become the next chief executive replacing Jean-Claude Juncker. Ursula von der Leyen will be the first woman to lead the European Union's executive arm. On top of that, she is 60 and has seven children.

In the same day, IMF chief Christine Lagarde has been nominated as the first woman to head the European Central Bank (ECB). Chapeau!

3. Vogue Germany celebrates 40 years.

Christiane Arp, Vogue Germany editor-in-chief since 2002, is one of the most influential voices in the German fashion industry. Apart from that, Notorious loves her style, her hair, and her super cool allure.

4. A mooooooment...Céline Dion was in Paris at the Haute Couture Winter 2019

The Canadian singer became the spirit of fashion week. If you are tired of seeing influencer photos in the street of Paris, Céline is your best option, she carries the clothes like a Diva; untouchable, with an attitude larger than life! Is she the only one who understands Haute Couture?
