The year has just begun and we’ve already seen the latest fashion must-haves paired with the new hair and make-up trends during the Berlin Fashion Week.
La Biosthétique, again in partnership with the Berlin Fashion Week, was responsible for the hair and makeup not only of the shows’ models but also of the front-row German and international celebs such as the actresses Hannah Herzprung, Esther Schweins, Yvonne Catterfeld and the “Suits” actress Sarah Rafferty, singer Joy Denalane and Victoria Secret’s top-model Lorena Rae. Sitting on the front-row were also fashion journalists, bloggers and influencers from all over the world.
Alexander Dinner, La Biosthétique Creative Director, and his team made sure the models had perfect hair following the latest trends. La Biosthétique expert Steffen Zoll and his team came to the German capital from New York with the hottest make-up trends.
One of the big challenges during the fashion week was Marc Cain’s catwalk show. Under the motto “Meet you at the train station”, the concept of the collection and show was different styles for different types of women, from street-style to office looks and nightgowns. Alexander Dinter had to create 43 different hairstyles, one for each model; ponytails, long middle-parted hair, Bobs and so on. The looks were sleek but not over-groomed, airy and natural-looking so as to suit today’s modern women. Each model also received individual make-up especially created to match their hair-do and outfit.
Model Lorena Rae approved the looks, she said she likes simple and sleek styling, “less is more”, she explained.
Another model who enjoyed her trendy fashion week look was Marlies Pia Pfeifhofer. Her favourite hairdresser, the Munich-based Viennese Markus Loboda, has been using La Biosthétique products to prepare the model’s looks for special occasions. She said she likes the natural look for the hair but also sleeker styles and beach waves look for events. As for makeup, she prefers natural eye makeup and lipstick in berry hues.
