Eponine green dress everybody is talking about
Kate Middleton, looking radiant in a bright green dress by Eponine London, visited Lavender Primary School to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week in the U.K., an important part of her work. The Duchess of Cambridge met teachers and parents to talk about mental wellbeing. During the “show and tell” session, the mother-of-three showed the young students a photo of her husband and children, saying that her family makes her feel happy.
She chose for the occasion a long-sleeve shift dress with pocket detailing, in a thick bouclé wool, very '60s - Swinging London style, and the Duchess finished her stylish look with black suede ankle boots from her favourite shoe label, L.K.Bennet, and a Mulberry black clutch. Like all members of the royal family, the Duchess’s style is usually very classic, but the thick black tights and lace-up booties gave her look a modern feel.
The Duchess of Cambridge is visiting two schools today to find out more about the support offered to students, teachers and parents to help with mental wellbeing. The Duchess is first visiting Lavender Primary School in support of Place2Be for #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek 2019. She will then visit Alperton Community School to meet the UK’s first winner of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize, Andria Zafirakou, and find out more about the programmes the school runs to support both students and teachers with their mental wellbeing. ——————— The Duchess is wearing a new green dress from Eponine London today, along with some new LK Bennett ankle boots!
The sleek green dress comes from Eponine London, a fashion label that makes custom-made pieces and a ready-to-wear collection; both inspired in the ‘50s and ‘60s silhouettes. The stylist and creative director, Jet Shenkman, founded this chic brand with beautiful garments designed by Peter Petrov, which are made in London at the Eponine atelier. Some capsule collections are created with unique textiles found in antique shops in Thailand or Africa, and Kimonos from Japan.
The colourful dresses, suits, jumpsuits and elegant coats lined with silks designed and printed by Eponine are chic and contemporary. Kate Middleton’s green shift dress also comes in a joyful, bright pink, that you can order from the label's online shop.
