The fine guide

Every year as Easter approaches, we find ourselves counting impatiently the days till Spring, which is just around the corner!

And as always at this time of the year, we can’t help thinking about the feminine and romantic floral dresses.

Not exactly groundbreaking, I know it, my dear Miranda, but inevitable!

We saw a lot of floral prints on the catwalks and also in the streets during the Fashions weeks of NY, London, Milan, and Paris.

In 2018 the floral trend comes in so many different shapes and shades and is everywhere, it will be almost impossible not to fall in love - again - and long for these floral dresses! And from what we saw at the last fashion shows, we will still be wearing our cute floral dresses throughout next fall and winter too!

So, how will the floral dresses look like in 2018?

Micro-florals

You will have the romantic mini-flowers in pastel hues like the ones chosen by Giambattista Valli and Self-Portrait.

60’s vibe

Gucci presented chiffon dresses with flowers in pastel colours. Prabal Gurung also chose chiffon for the sexy and flirty floral dresses, making a patchwork of different prints.

Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu and Marni opted for florals in vibrant strong colours.

Flower graphics

Pierpaolo Piccioli, in his  Fall 2018 collection for Valentino, the house he’s been modernizing in the past years, created wonderful dresses, boots, sweaters, coats and evening gowns with huge floral graphics, printed or embroidered with sequins.
