What to wear in the ...
Yes, we are in the middle of summer and being barefoot in the sand, having a cocktail in one hand and a popsicle in the other is what most people are waiting for all year long.
Some though (including us) are already looking forward to fall. That is mainly because fall is the best season when it comes to fashion. Jackets, layering, boots, hats… the list of styles and pieces is endless and just thinking about it almost makes us cancel our holiday plans and jump straight into September.
The major questions that arise with these thoughts are “What will be the trends this fall?” “Will oxblood be a thing again?” “Are we going to wear checked blazers?” or “Which hats will keep us warm and stylish throughout the season?” Since we know you don´t want to bother your head about what is on trend and rather head into the stores, we took the research work out of your hands and will provide you with the major trends for the upcoming fall.
You still have that leo coat from 2013? Perfect, because it is time to get it back out of the closet! Animal print is going to be a huge thing this fall as designers like Balenciaga, Haider Ackermann, Victoria Beckham and Tom Ford are showing on the runway. Zebra dresses, leopard pants and coats are back (have they ever been gone?) and we highly recommend jumping on the bandwagon!

Is there any material that begs for fall more than tweed? We don´t think so. The Oh-so-Chanel fabric is definitely a must wear from September onwards. If you now think “nah, too old-fashioned for me” we can totally comfort you. Or do tweed bomber jackets and slit skirts combined with denim shirts and biker boots sound obsolete to you?

When talking about checked clothes we really have to ask ourselves if this is a trend or rather a classic. The pattern has been keeping us company for many years now and it just seems to never get old. Checked blazers, pants and accessories are the perfect wardrobe staple, extremely versatile and on top of that also on trend again in fall. If you haven´t got your hands on a checked item, now is the time!

Green and red? Absolutely! Yellow and blue? For sure! If you thought colourblocking was over and something that wouldn´t come up again, we are sorry to disappoint you. The crazy and striking trend is back, if you like it or not. So what about being courageous, getting out of your comfort zone for once and trying this trend in fall? It might turn out pretty good!
