The career of Italian Chiara Ferragni is without any doubt a phenomenon, and we will be able to see soon in a documentary about her life, how she’s managed to sky-rocket to fame in only ten years since starting her famous fashion blog The Blond Salad.

The Blond Salad began in 2009, with photos the young Italian law student shot of herself in the garden of her parents’ house in Italy. Fast-forward ten years and Chiara Ferragni has 15.8 million Instagram fans; she has her line of shoes and clothing that she sells in her flagship store in Milan and online, of course. She’s the Ambassador for Pantene and the jewellery brand Pomellato, she has her version of Barbie doll, and according to Forbes, she’s the most powerful fashion influencer in the world. In fact, her success is such that the blogger became a case study at Harvard Business School!

Besides being a bubbly and pretty girl who knows how to dress, Chiara is a very intelligent business woman. The smart influencer’s managed to spot the revolution that the digital era was bringing and became one of the protagonists in the changes that were to happen in the relations between fashion and street fashion, becoming indeed very powerful in such a short space of time.

The documentary, directed by the Italian Elisa Amoruso, begins at Ferragni’s wedding to the Italian rapper Fedez in a spectacular ceremony captured by the several cameras that followed her every step, and that was duly photographed and shared on Instagram, like every other event in the life of the Blond Salad creator. Being the queen of the social media era, the beautiful blond registers every moment to share them with the world. Nothing seems intimate enough not be shared, from Fedez’s public proposal during his concert in Verona that was being broadcasted live, to the birth of their son. Ferragni feeds daily her followers with dreamy images of her fabulous life in the most stunning settings; giving her followers something to dream about is undoubtedly one of the secrets of her astronomic success.
