Winter Depression? No way! The season (and this month) is full of events and things to do, and if you can count yourself among the lucky people living in or close to Vienna, or you get the chance to visit our lovely city, you will be overwhelmed by all the options on what to do in this month. Visit The Winter at MQ 2017 


When: November 9 – December 23, Opening Event on the first day

Where: Museumsquartier Vienna

What: Hot punch, mulled wine and nice sounds: At the MQ you won’t find the ordinary Christmas market. The only thing that you can buy here, are winter drinks, but here they have the best (and most unusual) in town! 


Shop At The Feschmarkt


When: FRI—SUN, November 17–19

Where: Ottakringer Brauerei

What: Individual Shopping, away from Mariahilferstraße & Co. The Feschmarkt is perfect for buying Christmas presents and little gifts for yourself!


Get Amazed At Vegan Planet 


When: FRI—SUN, November 24–26

      Where: MAK

      What: Basically a huge vegan fair, covering everything, from food over clothes to health, literature, beauty and more. And especially non-vegans will be surprised about all the options that exist. 


      Read At The Buch Wien  


      When: WED-SUN, November 8–12

      Where: Messe Wien + several locations around town

      What: Vienna’s biggest book fair, with great events as readings, presentations, and talks; and of course books, books, books as far as you can see. (The perfect occasion to stock up on books for winter)


      Indulge At The Sushi Festival 


      When: FRI-SUN, November 10-12

      Where: Gösserhalle

      What: Yes, you heard right. Our prayers have been answered. After ice cream, beer and burger festivals, also the Sushi lovers’ dreams come true. Taste yourself through Vienna’s best Sushi!


      Dive Into the KlezMORE Festival 


      When: November 4-9

      Where: Different locations around Vienna

      What: Various events like concerts, film screenings, and workshops, all centering around the Jewish Klezmer culture delight their audience at the KlezMORE festival. If you are not familiar with Klezmer, it’s about time!
