Whether you’re going on a business trip or holidays, your airplane outfit must be comfortable but also sleek because airports are the kind of place where you’re bound to meet someone, and according to Murphy’s law, especially if you’re not well dressed, so better not leave things to chance. You don’t want to bump into Prince Charming looking like you were TV binging in your PJs, right?
When I travel, I always take a light sweater and a scarf, even in summer, because the weather can change from one moment to the next, particularly around March and April, and because of the air conditioning in the airport and plane, so layering is my best friend! A big tote is crucial to care all the essentials for any trip like documents, the latest magazines, my infused water, iPhone and earphones and of course, sunglasses that are a must after a long flight! If I'm taking long necklaces with me, I prefer wearing them instead of carrying them in my bag so that I won't go crazy having to untangle the chains on my arrival. Also, I wear very little makeup, especially on long trips, and I apply the mascara only before landing, to avoid getting off the plane with that panda-look because of the smeared eye-makeup.
Here are my tips for the perfect aeroplane wardrobe:

Especially for longer flights, comfort is the first thing I worry about when choosing my travelling outfits. But please, remember that comfort does not mean sloppiness. You can feel comfortable but still, look chic. Jogging pants are an excellent option to travel if you choose one in cashmere or a beautiful fabric. Avoid cotton joggers or tracksuits looking like a football coach! A tonal dressing is always chic; pair you comfy jogging pants with a tone-on-tone pullover, shopper bag and shoes.

The easiest and safest bet for your perfect airport look is all-black or all-navy from head-to-toe. It always works, you will look chic even if you haven’t been able to sleep during a long flight. Make sure you have your Jackie O. sunglasses with you. To update your all-black look, wear some cool white boots or ankle boots like Victoria Beckham and all fashion-savvy girls.

Travelling with kickers is terrific because the airports are bigger and bigger so comfortable walking shoes are a must, but be careful not to look sloppy. Wear clean kickers and balance the look with tailored pants ( the wider, the better) and an elegant trench coat, which is effortlessly chic and suits most temperatures.
