See Taylor Swift's (Style) Transformation

She’s currently all over the News: Taylor Swift is undergoing an image change, leaving the past behind and settling a score with everybody doing her wrong. Her new album, that was released just a week ago, is full of songs addressing the media, journalists and anybody else who contributed to her reputation. This is also the reason for the title of the record. “Reputation” came like a bombshell, with record-breaking selling numbers only after the first weekend. Her fans seem to love the new Taylor, and so do we. Admittedly, I have never been the greatest Swift fan. I didn’t really care about her. But her 180-degrees change is, quite frankly, impressive.

And along with the new image, also a style transformation came. No more ‘good school girl’ skirts, over with the country resembling checked shirts, bye-bye to romantic flower dresses. The old Taylor is dead, as she sings in her song “LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO” and we do see it: On the cover of Reputation Vol. 2 magazine she’s wearing a Camo Hooded Anorak by Marc Jacobs, that has become a desired piece since then. In the much-talked about video “ARE YOU READY FOR IT?” she appears in a bodysuit with sexy over knee boots, but the discussions are about another scene, in which she is kind of naked…

And while the looks in her new videos are rather provocative, also her private style changed a lot. For her Album Release Aftershow Party last week, Taylor arrived in a leopard jumper from the menswear section by Amiri, a hooded bomber from Unravel Project (so cool!!), and combat-style dark red Prada booties. In admiration of this ultra sassy look and in honor of her new style, we recreated this nice outfit in some options.
