Flying for a long period of time can do much damage to your skin. Even if it doesn't seem like it, being approximately 11 kilometers high really isn't that great for your skin. Fortunately, however, there are a number of steps that you can take to make yourself glow when stepping off the plane. And here we listed some of them, to help you energize your skin.
It helps a lot if you prep your skin well for the flight. That means moisturizing with masks and serums the night before.
Take moisturizer with you on the plane. That way you can use it during the flight when your skin feels a bit dull and dry. Also, try mixing natural oils with your moisturizer for that extra kick of hydration.
Using different facial sprays can help you freshen up during flights. It also keeps you cool and looking dewy. But be careful with the type of sprays that you use, because using just water does more harm than good. So look for sprays that contain oils, aloe, etc. Cleansing cloths are another good thing to use for freshening up.
Makeup clogs your pores and makes your skin dry. So it's only logical that you are not supposed to wear makeup while on a plane. Not only it dries out your skin, it also sits in your fine lines and cracks, so either way, you won't be looking fresh when you arrive at your destination. If you have somewhere to be right after landing, take your makeup on your carry-on and do it right before getting off the plane. And if you are scared of walking around with no makeup, use tinted moisturizer and mascara.
HYDRATE AND EAT WELL
This really is self-explanatory. Make sure to drink tons of water and eat good food, not greasy, fatty foods.
When you finally come to your room, make sure to use a peeling to remove the dry and dead skin from your face. And again, moisturize.
