What do all super models and Kim Kardashian have in common? Right, perfectly shaped cheekbones and well-defined features.
With the latest makeup trend called Strobing, you can create amazing effects and sculpt your face by only using a simple highlighter. While we are used to bronzer and darker foundations to generate a shadow light effect, this method needs a lot of practice as you can easily end up looking like a clown. However, Strobing only highlights the parts where natural light hits your skin, brightening up your face in the most natural way.
How it works
- Go ahead with your usual skincare.
- After you are done, apply some of your foundation to cover up impurities and create a nice base.
- For the upcoming step just use a highlighter that is a bit lighter than your natural skin tone. Put some of your highlighter on your forehead, bridge of the nose, cheekbones, Cupid’s bow and chin.
- Make sure that you blend it out nicely, so it harmonizes with your skin tone. If you have oily skin you can also use some of your powder to reduce the shine.
