The whole world seems to be talking about that Kim Kardashian’s robbery at Paris Fashion Week. Well, we prefer to take a closer look at what was happening on the streets and runways of the French fashion capital.
And with Paris Fashion Week coming to an end today, it’s about time to discuss some key trends that have emerged from the SS17 catwalks. From cold shoulders and bright pink dresses to cool slogan T-Shirts. Here we go with six hot trends of the spring-summer collections.
The Cold Shoulder
For SS/17 the designers continue to give fashion the cold shoulder. Strong 80s vibes with a modern twist – a look we never get tired of.
All that shines
Shiny vinyl fabrics made a striking comeback! From jackets and skirts to off shoulder tops at Mugler, Kenzo and beyond. A shiny red coat à la Valentino made it to the top of our wish list for spring!
Colours on the rise! Céline, Balenciaga, as well as Valentino – all those brands sent out models wearing a bright pink draped midi dress worn with colourful tights and heels.
Those wordy tees are everywhere! From Haider Ackerman, Stella McCartney, Paco Rabbane to Christian Dior and Carven.
Transparency is one of the big topics for spring-summer. Rare were designers who did not include at least one or two see-through dresses or tops in their Paris collections.
All White Please
If you ask the designers of Céline, Talbot und Runhof, Chanel and Chloé, they want us to wear white. All white!
