As the first reports on New York Fashion Week SS17 come rolling in, we still like to wait until the end to sum up the good and the bad of all upcoming trends. However, there are some flash news we cannot ignore. One of these regards one of our favorite designers, Alexander Wang, and one of our favorite streetwear brands, none less than Adidas.
It looks like the two came together for a collaboration dated SS17, and it also seems like the groundbreaking designer and the exemplary urban brand were made for each other. Although the main collection to come are signed Alexander Wang only, it is during the show at NYFW that the designer marveled the attendees with an extra bit where all models came back out wearing Adidas pieces.
While the full 84-piece collection will come out later next spring, the capsule collection shown at NYFW is already available. But, before you get too excited, I should tell you it’s just possible to buy its pieces from a pop-up truck that will be traveling NYC, Tokio, and London in the coming days. Better get on your scooters.
More easter eggs: The Adidas logo is upside-down. Also, Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie stars in the campaign. See a preview in the gallery.
