It is known: we are all in love with the latest Netflix hit, sci-fi 80s-themed Stranger Things. The actors (mostly children!) are talented, the idea is real good and the plot sucks your right in. But here at Notorious, as you know all too well, we like to keep an eye on the wardrobe as well. And this year, seemingly the one for multiple comebacks, couldn’t have been a better timing for Stranger Things to bring about some 80s galore.

So here it is, between one dark secret and another, what to wear á-la-Stranger Things.

You dad’s favorite piece of outerwear is one that all characters seem to have in their wardrobes, and this might or might not explain in which decade he actually bought it. Nancy seems to sport it wonderfully together with a loaded gun.

A quilted jacket is not only screaming 80s at the top of its lungs (?), but it will make you look badass riding home on your bike. Hopefully nothing dark will seize you on the way.

Ruffled collars

Barb is not only a know-it-all about dubious relationships with boys, but also a geek chich queen. Ruffled collars and big round glasses are her thing, and now also ours.

Rambo’s camo headband

Lucas Rambo’s camo headband when the going gets tough, and it does fit the spirit quite well. But can you pull it off? Just one way to find out.

Long-sleeved polos

Rugby polo shirts for no specific athletic reason? Yes please. Extra points if worn together with a mane like Steve’s.
