How to make a salad:
This is the foundation of your meal, an essential part. These are usually greens, such as spinach, romaine, arugula, cabbage or kale.
Add the extra crunch for a nice and pleasant texture. The options are endless, you can choose from carrots, sprouts, cucumber, croutons, seeds, apples…
Add some roasted sweet potatoes, avocado, tomato, rice or olives to contrast with the crunchiness.
4. Something unexpected
Surprise! This element brings the wow factor to the table- literally. Chop up some fruit to add a sweet tang to the recipe, like strawberries, oranges or pomegranate, or throw in some hummus or guacamole.
To complete the basics, you need some dressing to combine all the flavours together, like olive oil, tahini, mustard, vinegar or pesto sauce.
