Alexa Chung is one of those infallible idols of our fashion times — always in style, never boring, never non-creative. After her collaboration with AG Jeans in Fall 2015, we find her back in retail with a new collection for Marks & Spencer called Archive.
As Alexa Chung never does anything fashion-related without a spark in there somewhere, we need to take a step back and take a look at how this collection came to be. Marks & Spencer enlisted Chung in other to jointly create a line that could revive some historical M&S pieces from the 1960s to the 80s. Together, they went through the M&S archive and pulled out the best of it. Then, they made it become reality once again.
And this is how vintage comes back to life in a modern form. Check out the gallery to see the best bits. And then, you can shop it here.
