Yes, we are totally aware of the fact that it’s almost mid-April.  Also, we know that by now we should jump around gaily in florid summer dresses, lacing sandals and Panama hats. Having fro-yos for lunch and drinking mojitos at 4pm. Or so. “Or so” because, with all respect for our desire for summer holidays, I hold the unpleasant duty to remind you that -also as a matter of fact- it’s only mid-April. Only 3,5 months have passed since we welcomed a new year with enormous resolutions and even greater expectations. And we still have over 2 months to go until summer season will officially be declared. So with all sympathy for the impatience of the heart, let met tell you to calm down a little and see the advantage of frosty mornings bathed in sunshine:

April, May and September are THE months of dressing up! As you neither have to hide your well-chosen couture under some puff down jacket (which will be huge for FW16, by the way) nor are overcome by a hot flush whenever the sheer thought of more than knicker-long pants occurs, this is the time to show off all your in-between-season treasures: leather jackets, trench coats, ankle-long trousers, cut-out ankle boots, light trainers, head scarves, silk kimonos and so on and so forth. For today’s Look Of The Week, we have therefore chosen a combination that almost rigorously follows this season’s maxim, “dress for yourself’: cigarette trousers over glitter tights, halfway covered by an oversize ruffled and a military jacket. Perfected with a pair of satin dancing shoes. May I ask, can it get any better? Check out the gallery to find similar- mooded pieces!
