As if the departure of Raf Simons from Dior’s HQ hasn’t left us heartbroken enough, it’s Saint Laurent‘s turn to lose a big game changer today. That’s right: Hedi Slimane is leaving the brand once again.
During his stay at the head of the brand’s creative direction, Slimane managed to revamp Yves Saint Laurent from scratch, hopefully creating a consistent base for the fashion house to work on when he is going to be long gone. All the glam, rock, and retro spirit he instilled in the brand shall stay and keep blooming.
Apparently, Hedi Slimane is leaving due to a simple end of his contract with Saint Laurent. His successor is rumored to be Anthony Vaccarello.
