It’s been a year now that the fashion world has turned up the speed towards genderless fashion to full gallop. For FW15 Alessandro Michele, who back then premiered in his role as Gucci’s new creative director, let girls and boys share the runway- and also the tailoring. Since then, retail stores have been releasing genderless fashion lines, major brands are hiring models of the opposite sex to star in their new ad campaigns and – as it seems – men’s and women’s fashion trends are as similar as they have never been before.
Obviously, men’s and women’s fashion has always felt the same way, it has always reflected the same society and it has always matched with each other – but never before has it actually looked the same. For FW16, women and men are both wearing military, lambskin and XXL down jackets to name just a few of the many things we are so eagerly awaiting. We’ve compiled them all for you in a neat and tidy gallery. Go check it out now!
