In the mood for a Marie Antoinette kind of day? You’re in the right place. We have a weakness for all things decadent and baroque, so we definitely couldn’t ignore Asya Kozina‘s brilliant work. Kozina is an artist who creates baroque-era wigs out of paper, in celebration of her passion for historical wigs.  Apparently, what intrigues her about baroque-era wigs (and all others!) is the purity behind their very essence. “This is art for art’s sake aesthetics for aesthetics,” she wrote.

Kozina follows the original models, just to enrich them with incredible details and dreamy touches: bouquets, curls of every size and shape, even ships cutting through a sea of paper hair. Take a look at her incredible creations in the gallery.
