Easy question: why do most people prefer warm months over cold ones?
There are many reasons: sunshine, long days, tanned bodies, vacation vibes. But even fashion-wise: it is very hard to create an outfit that is both warm and fashionable. Strolling around any bigger city’s main plaza in December you’ll find two types of dressers:
- The snowman: wrapped in several layers of wool, down and fleece, (s)he ends up looking like a shrunken Santa Claus. Warmth is fine and dandy, but will this work on your Saturday Night date?
- Maybe not. You’ll rather slim the outerwear situation down a little, risking making the acquaintance of that nice winter flu (or you can also take a taxi).
So in order to help you out of this hopeless misery, we have thought of an outfit that passes both tests. Small hint: layering on a thin scale!
