When days are getting shorter and nights are getting longer it can sometimes be pretty hard to keep a stiff upper lip. And while some people actually have SAD (seasonal affective disorder, look it up on Wikipedia) and need to get light therapy in these months of swallowing obscurity, I wonder: what excuse do I have for my recurrent winter misery? Am I living in the wrong hemisphere or am I, at the end of the day, just a sissy?
Until I live in the land of my dreams, I’ve decided to find another way to canal a little paint into my winter life: clothes! For the sake of convenience (and warmth) we all tend to do the black in black look and by the time we’ve reached December hardly anyone, except for Santa, is wearing bright anymore. Shouldn’t we rather be fighting the winter with its own weakness, color?
