Last season, the internet was all over Kanye with his rather unexpected fashion line, Yeezy Season 1, and not in a particularly good way. The latest runway shows have seen a return of the singer/wannabe president 2020 with a new collection — called Yeezy Season 2, of course — and at this point nobody really knows why.

NYFW reviewers called it a showcase instead of a runway show — because, well. There is a lack of major differences between Yeezy Season 1 and Season 2,¬†apart from the fact that Season 1 was mostly black and grey and Season 2 is all beige. Like, seriously:

Some experiments have been made. According to Vogue, every outfit was arranged in order to reflect the skin color of the model wearing it, which is a cool idea. Still, it just looks all kind of beige. But that’s just me.

What was mostly talked about was the ensemble of stars sitting on the front row: wife Kim Kardashian, together with daughter North West, Seth Meyers, Lorde, and, of course,¬†Anna Wintour. Mother and daughter wore pieces from the collection, or the most wearable ones, which means hoodies (beige hoodies). All in all, like last time, Kanye’s SS16 line consisted of a number of transparent tights, tank tops, hoodies, no pants and some bath robes. I really don’t know how to put this in a more descriptive way!

But let’s give it a chance: here are some of the shots from the show. You be the judge of it.
