If you are like some of us, stuck in the office, obedient waiting to get out to your Summer vacations, nothing better to do than to dream of fresh days of Autumn. After all, the shop windows are already wearing fur, pullover, boots and capes.
For the next season, we have some darling fashion designers, like Stella McCartney, who again rocked at London Fashion Week.
She explained her collection: “It is about looking at those staples, the pieces we all turn to as women, but I want more out of them, I want to say something with my clothes.” And she did it, breathing new life into a wardrobe of essentials. Ribbed turtlenecks with delicate brass buttons, elegant coats cut in modern lines, updated with metallic perspex disc buttons. Knits were paired together but reconstructed asymmetrically in a delightful twist. The psychedelic garden print is the result of a collaboration with illustrator Will Sweeney. All the luxury you want, without any guilty: faux-fur, eco alter Nappa, biodegradable rubber.
