Spent all day at the office sweating (in case you don’t have any air-condition, we are deeply sorry) and still want to get the last rays of sunshine outside with your friends or better half? Then how about going to the annual Open Air Cinema, “Kino Wie Noch Nie”, powered by Filmarchiv Austria and the Viennale! The popular event will begin on July 2 and guarantee to keep you busy until Aug 23. Also the location’s not too shabby! You can cosy up in the idyllic Augartenspitz in Vienna’s beloved Augarten (where you can even enjoy great food and a drink or two). The tickets will be around €8 (reduced tickets are €5) and the movies usually start around 9.30pm.

And just in case you need more convincing, these are just a few of the previous films shown at the Open Air Cinema: Freaks, Jack the Ripper, King Kong, Rosemary’s Baby, My Fair Lady, Django Unchained etc. Looking at this list, we are very excited to see what’s in store for this summer! So tell your friends, get ready to put on your favourite summer outfit, lean back and enjoy the open air cinema entertainment!
