Do you remember Bratz? Those dolls for children between 6 and 13 years of age which happened to have nothing in common with the kids supposed to play with them? What made them special was tons of makeup and 2000s party dresses which made all mums go “What?”.
Well, Tasmanian artist Sonia Singh decided to take some discarded Bratz dolls and give them a makeover, and therefore a new life. Taking all that makeup off and changing clothes and hair, Singh transformed some controversial toys in the dolls next door.
Her hobby soon became viral, and Tree Change Dolls are becoming a thing. Kids seem to love them, and mums do for sure. Enjoy this interview and this very cute story of doll redemption.
