‘Architectural short poems’ is the name that Matthias Jung, German graphic designer, gave to his hyper-realistic collages. Jung collects details and parts of photos in order to put them together to create fantasy worlds; fantasy houses, to be exact. His final creations depict floating castles, buildings made of more buildings and flying rose windows. Futuristic winter palaces appear amidst snowy dunes while a solitary tower stands in the middle of the desert.
Art and fantasy are our daily bread, and I certainly wouldn’t mind renting out a flying castle. Enjoy these creations, and dream on.
