There is no other place like Supersense in Vienna. It is one part concept store one part cafe – and it is bringing along with it an analog revolution.
If you go there to eat without knowing anything about the shop, it has a traditional Viennese feel with a few modern touches. It has a laid back atmosphere to sit back and enjoy a coffee and a conversation with a friend.
Upon further investigation, you might notice there is way more to this cafe than just coffee and it is actually a place to get in touch with your artistic side. It’s how I imagine the great classical music composers of Vienna must have felt sipping their coffees in the historic coffee houses that are so embedded in Austrian history and culture – but instead of concertos this cafe is inspiring a new wave of photographers.
They offer classes to learn about the analog art of photography with the possibility of renting polaroid cameras if you would like to test out your skills as a photographer before committing to a long-term camera relationship. It is life at a slower pace, which we can really get behind.
Located at Praterstrasse 70 in the second district, you can check out for yourself and enjoy a taste of real Vienna.
