In 2006, Frida Giannini became Gucci’s Creative Director following Tom Ford. Wednesday, the Kering Luxury Houses, who owns Gucci, Altuzzara, Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent, announced Giannini and the CEO, Patrizio di Marco, step down. The reason seems to be a decrease in growth since 2013.  Ricardo Tisci or Joseph Altuzarra popped up as probably Gucci’s next Creative director.

Not only luxury and sexy clothes were in Frida Giannini’s agenda, she also has lead the social project, Chime For Change, to raise awareness and funds to help women in crisis around the world. The project’s motto is: Education. Health. Justice. For every girl. Every woman. Everywhere. Because none of us can move forward if half of us are held back.

We wish Frida Giannini lots of success!
