If you are not familiar with Amelia’s Magazine, it was printed from 2004-2009 and now is only available online. That is – until this special 10th anniversary edition. Although it was only printed for about 5 years it is a permanent fixture on many bookshelves because of its unique designs. It was one of the pinnacles for independent design magazines, before it was cool. I mean, how could you not treasure a magazine with a glow-in-the dark cover?
The latest project That Which We Do Not Understand resurrects this idea with limited edition golf leaf prints as well as the beloved print version of the magazine. It appealed to many new artist via an open letter on her website and artist all over the world were encouraged to submit their artwork the project was funded by a Kickstarter campaign. It explores the mystical and unknown through art and creative writings, so think in a taro, voodoo, magic, paganistic direction.
