Russian history plays with the fantasy of many who are charmed by the dazzling times of czars and emperors, between the 16th century and the beginning of the 20th. This epoch is charming for many. Among these, there is one artist who felt the need to bring back some of the refinements of that ancient Russian culture, recreating jewelry that evokes the memory of the imperial centuries like no other before.
I am talking about Petr Axenoff, born in a family of artists and turned to jewelry production after noticing that something was missing in the market, that something being heritage pieces. Through training in Kostroma, town part of the so-called Golden Ring where the crafting of jewels for noble families took place, Axenoff learned the skills necessary to produce traditional jewelry and created his lines adding his very own creative designs.
