MCQ by Alexander McQueen is keeping their edge for their Fall/Winter 2014 collection by working with the London based tattoo enthusiast and commercial artist, Fergus Purcell, better know by his cult following by his artist tag “Fergadelic”. He may not have the “high-fashion” look, but his résumé speaks otherwise, having already created graphics for Marc by Marc Jacobs in 2013. MCQ tapped the englishman for his creative mind to design two bespoke designs, “the Frankenman” and the “Scarred McQ”. Fergadelic seems like the perfect fit for the label becasue he obviously understands and embraces the intricacies and subtleties of the subcultures that have influenced the Alexander McQueen brand since the beginning. They have also announced the expansion of their collaboration for Spring/Summer 2015.
