The famous 1940s and 1950s actress, Lauren Bacall, has died this morning in her home at the age of 89 after suffering a massive stroke. This beautiful actress was launched to the stars with her iconic Harper’s BAZAAR cover in March, 1943. She starred in many films including “The Mirror Has Two Faces”, “Designing Woman” and “To Have And Have Not”, being a part of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Lauren was best known for her husky voice, iconic style and off-screen romance with Humphrey Bogart. In 2010., she won a Life Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.

Before the famous Harpers’s BAZAAR cover, Lauren was a model, always sporting chic, glamorous and stylish looks. Very soon she became a style icon and inspiration for many women. And Lauren has really been an example of how women should grow old gracefully – with her famous quote:
