Rio Fashion Week is held twice a year in Rio de Janeiro, approximately with one week distance of São Paulo Fashion Week. The two events aim to bring Brazilian fashion to the runway and to the attention of the world. Considering this point, some brands are doing pretty well, like Alexandre Herchcovitch, Osklen, Alexandre Birman, Lenny Niemeyer, Pedro Lourenço. But, you can‘t find those brands to buy in Europe, maybe in USA. The export taxes in Brazil destroys any dreams to be competitive in a international market, pity.
Style.com selected very nice items from Brazilian designers, inspired by Rio natural beauty. Enjoy!
