Vivienne Westwood got inspired by Charles Frederick Worth, who is considered one of the most important founders of Haute Couture. He designed the most fashionable and exklusive robes of the 19th century for ladies of the upper class – Austrian Empress Sissi was one of his biggest fans! For the Gold Label Collection, Vivienne Westwood adds some accent of the Ashaninka Tribe (Peru).

The SS14 Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Collection is a again a really wow! The focus is set on noble embroidery in darker and muddy colors, which benefits the sunkissed skin of the person who wears the outfits. As a fact many of the outfits are made of recycled stuff such as shades, the muddy colors reflect the environment … WOW. Continuing her climate revolution, for this collection Westwood wanted to remind us that ‘everything is connected’ and that we can all make a difference!!
