Take A Look At Some Of The Kate Moss’s Best Campaigns!

On choosing a 19-year-old Kate Moss for the 1993 Calvin Klein Obsession fragrance ads, Klein explained: “I wanted someone who was natural, always thin. I was looking for the complete opposite of that glamour type that came before Kate”.

Poached by Burberry in 1998, Kate featured in nine out of Burberry’s 16 campaigns until the brand dropped her in 2005 for her shocking drug allegations. Burberry maintained that Moss “had always been a fantastic model and highly professional for Burberry” and subsequently featured her once again in the A/W 2006 campaign.

While the irony of Kate Moss’s modelling stint for Dior Addict lipstick was not lost on the public, the star has also lent her looks to clothing campaigns for the French fashion house.

Kate Moss signed her contract as the face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle fragrance in 2002, but was dropped as a consequence of the 2005 drug allegations against her.

Close friend Stella McCartney sourced Kate Moss for her watercolour inspired spring/summer 2009 campaign. The model has even worn Stella’s Comic Relief tees in recent years for the charity campaign.

Chameleon-like Kate showed her Sixties side in Missoni’s autumn/winter 2004 campaign.

“My relationship with Rimmel started 12 years ago and it’s been a great one,” said Moss at the brand’s 180th birthday in October 2013. Though Kate shrugs off the partnership – “It started off with just I think like one campaign, and then it worked and we all got on…” she has become synonymous with the ‘London look’.

The Versace autumn/winter 2013 campaign “is stripped back to the raw power of the clothes and models,” said Donatella Versace, who decided to transform Kate into a “strong Versace character” with brown hair.

Shot by Craig McDean, the spring/summer 2010 campaign for YSL fragrance Parisienne also included a whimsical video of Kate in Paris. The video was shown in Europe, but was considered too risqué for American audiences.

“She is confident and stylish and she works well with the Cavalli look,” Roberto Cavalli has previously said of the super. He famously released a statement in support of Moss following her stint in an Arizona rehabilitation clinic in September 2005, and flew her to Ibiza for a campaign shoot once she was ready to check out.

Kate Moss took the helm as the face, and hair, of the Kérastase in May 2013. The French brand eschewed Kate’s signature bed hair in favour of a mega blow out.
