Silhouette, the most successful rimless eyewear in the world is celebrating its 1999 revolution design made out of titan, no frames-no screws-no hinges glasses. Silhouette was founded by Annualise and Arnold Schmied in 1964, the company continues to be family owned and is still in Linz. The iconic Silhouette ‘Titan Minimal Art’ eyewear also makes up part of the permanent collection at MAK Wien, the Austrian Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna.
After watching that video made by Canadian London-based street-style photographer and blogger Michelle Bobb-Parris, I am seriously thinking on changing my frames…
He asked people on the streets from major cities try on Silhouette rimless eyewear for the first time and then show the before-and-after portrait, amazing!
