When I was a child, I loved to paint the covers of my mother’s fashion magazines. I used to paint mustache and beard in the models, and also made their eyebrows very thick. But Ana Strumpf, Brazilian pop artist, who lives in New York, raised the category screw-magazine-cover into art. The result is really beautiful, and it’s a very original way of preserving some wonderful magazine’s covers, which are somehow a fetish.
I think you can try a DIY with your next Vogue issue 🙂
