She revamped the White House and now her jewelry collection will be auctioned – Jayne Wrightsman

American philanthropist Jayne Wrightsman, legendary in New York society for having  impeccable taste in everything and for being the one first lady Jackie Kennedy asked to help revamp the White House.  She has long been an astute patron of the fine and decorative arts, funding period rooms at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and commissioning influential interiors by Jansen. On December 5th , her incredible jewelry collection will be  available at Sothebys auction: “Magnificent Jewels from the Collection of Mrs. Charles Wrightsman” in New York.
